As
a chairman of the Los Angeles Chinese Orchestra, Professor Yao-Hua
Gao has taught Chinese music theory for over forty years
in China, Hong Kong,Taipei and USA. He now resides in the United
States.
As
a member of the Chinese Musician's Association, Professor
Yao-Hua Gao has also been the President of the Anhui Erhu
Research Academy and Professor of his alma mater, the Anhui College
of Arts. An accomplished performer of the Erhu, he has published
many research articles in Music of China, People's Music and
other musical arts journals of China.
